Wine has always been trademark and decently represented Georgia on a world’s scale. Hectares vineyards, 8000-year tradition of winemaking, 500 endemic species of grape, multiple archeological artifacts and historical facts proves that Georgia is homeland of wine.

Georgians have unique and exclusive technology of winemaking – Kvevri. Kvveri is clay, earthenware vessel, where winemakers store wine for fermentation. Wine kept in Kvevri does not require chemical preservatives to ensure long life and superior taste. It’s worth mentioning, that in 2013, Kvevri technology of winemaking was enlisted in UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritageof Humanity.
